This advertisement campaign for the National Postal Museum creates a distinct identity that aligns with the Smithsonian's overall branding. At the campaign's core is a foundational poster design that adapts across various formats, including banners, billboards, and merchandise.
Diagonal cropping and triangular shapes guide the viewer to the campaign’s call to action: “postmarking history.” This phrase highlights both the museum's focus on their historical significance while inviting viewers to engage with the museum. The campaign's visual motif, a yellow triangle, is consistently used to further unite all design applications.

FINAL POSTER DESIGN
In order to create a successful system that can be applied to numerous applications, the main poster design is established. The color system follows the Smithsonian’s brand guidelines, and the typography is inspired by their established system. All imagery used is from the Postal Museum’s existing exhibits and archives.
