ABOUT ME

I’m a senior at Auburn University earning my BFA in graphic design. I’m from the small town of Gordo, Alabama, and have enjoyed hands-on creating since I was little (the paint marks ingrained on the family kitchen table can vouch for me). Learning I can apply a tactile working style to graphic design is what inspired me to pursue it for my career.

Since being here at Auburn, I’ve grown my skills in both digital and traditional tools to develop my design method: a technique that values the hand-made process for  creation, resulting in dynamic work distinguished by its detailed craft and intentionality. Working this way I am able to bring a unique perspective and new solutions to problems.

Outside of my design curriculum, I enjoy taking fine art classes as well as general electives to continually learn both new artistic skills and academic concepts. I highly value a holistic understanding of topics outside of design and love projects where I can learn something new. In my general free time, I love to go to concerts, tend to my houseplants (29 as of today), and document special moments with my little film or digital cameras.
